The Welsh Airgun and Field Target Association (WAFTA) are hosting the World Field Target Championship which are taking place at Glanusk Monday 19th to Saturday 23rd September 2017.
Field Target shooting is one of the fastest growing shooting sports. In the past 15 years, the number of countries participating has grown from 3 to 39.
Registration for this event is fully booked with 375 competitors from 28 countries competing in this three-day event.
This will be the largest Field Target event ever held in the history of the sport.
Wales is one of the smaller nations competing, but they have been particularly successful over the past two years, winning the team event in Lithuania in 2014 and placed third as a team in Portugal in 2016, with a Welsh Competitor becoming world champion in Portugal.
