The Myarth Forest

The Estate woodlands comprise one main block "The Myarth" (207 ha / 500 acres) and several outliers (totalling 113 ha / 280 acres). Grand total 320 ha (790 acres).

Brown earth soils and generally modest elevations provide excellent growing conditions for a wide range of tree species.

There are ready made tracks for 4 x 4 access and mountain biking courses. Permission must be obtained by the Estate before gaining access to The Myarth Woodlands.

The woodlands are managed for timber production, shooting, conservation and leisure.
