Glanusk Lodge

Glanusk Lodge is situated amongst beautiful landscaped gardens, in the heart of Glanusk Park. A natural auditorium at the rear of the house looking out to the river and mountains, provides a truly stunning spot from which to relax.

Glanusk Lodge boasts six bedrooms; each bedroom is individually designed, some with the original decoration. Looking out onto the garden is the beautiful drawing room with an open fireplace, the french doors of the lobby open out onto the glorious park views. On the ground floor there is a single, a double bedroom with ensuite and a twin. There is a family bathroom and a loo. On the first floor you will find two double bedrooms, one with ensuite, one cabin twin room with an ensuite bathroom, and a further boxroom / single bedroom. On the ground floor, the kitchen hosts the original aga and is full of crockery and glasses, enough for large parties. The dining room looks over the garden and has french doors, which open to the paved surrounding patio. You can drink a glass of wine in the evening around the teak garden table and watch the sun set. With a laundry room, bbq facilities and plentiful parking, Glanusk Lodge offers a spectacular choice for a weekend away, or indeed a week's escape with friends and family. Glanusk Estate are delighted to be able to offer full catering, with a menu of your choice and housekeeping staff with a full laundry service, on request and with suitable advance notice.

Whilst on the Estate you can also take advantage of activities such as clay pigeon or rough shooting, fishing, or play a round on the nine hole private golf course. For those who prefer more sedate activities, perhaps a game of croquet, bridge or backgammon.

You can find our 2010/11 rate card to the left hand side and to check availability or to discuss your requirements, please do call Robyn on 01873 810414. The Lodge is available for groups and parties and for a minimum of three nights.
