Film & TV
The Estate is used for film and television locations. The locations are varied from buildings to the Celtic standing stones, the bridge and tower, stables dating from 1826, farm buildings, cottages, open park land and forestry.
The varied rural and architectual aspects of the Estate provide many opportunities. The Estate can provide facilities which compliment the medieval Tretower Court which is regularly used for historical scripts, and is less than one mile away. Interior and exterior locations can be provided at Penmyarth House by arrangement.
With 20,000 acres there is plenty of scope for useage in the hills.
The Times in 2007 wrote about our estate and said:
"Aside from the fact that the main arena is a natural grassy theatre, and you can wade down a small waterfall..., the site’s alignment of hill, valley, lake and wood makes for superlative fengshui"
