HISTORY OF GLANUSK PARK
Glanusk Park and Estate is privately owned by the Legge-Bourke family. It is situated in the beautiful countryside of the Usk Valley, Crickhowell, South Wales in the Brecon Beacons National Park, and is one of the largest privately owned Estates in Wales.
The Estate has been in existence for 200 years and has 400 acres of private parkland and beautiful buildings, which allows an enormous variety of uses. These include a private chapel for , festivals such as the renowned Green Man, corporate events, Sport at Glanusk, film/tv locations, exclusive and unique holiday cottages and bespoke events. Events that have taken place include: The Green Man Festival, CLA Game Fair, major film and tv productions, opera, agricultural shows and bespoke parties. The Estate lends itself to diverse requirements from clients.

Harry Legge-Bourke on ITV Countrywise 7.30pm Tuesday 24th April

ITV 1's Countrywise Kitchen visited Glanusk Estate last week as part of their ongoing series on ITV 1. The famous Michelin Starred Chef Michael Robinson and film crew spent the day with Harry Legge-Bourke on the river trying to catch a salmon but in low water it was not to be, so after a short discussion, trout was on the menu for lunch not salmon and Michael caught a wonderful fresh browny over 1lb in weight. This was cooked on the river bank at Glanusk as will be seen on Tuesday 24th April on ITV 1 at 7.30pm.
